Ballarat SC Dominates League 1 with 24 Points After Nine Matches

Ballarat SC holds first place in the FV Greater Ballarat League 1 amateur soccer competition with 24 points from nine matches, two clear of Forest Rangers on 20 points.

These mid-season numbers matter because the nine-team league plays a full home-and-away schedule before finals, and early gaps often decide who secures the top two spots and a week off in September. Clubs in Ballarat use the July window to adjust training loads and finalise injury lists before the run to September finals begins.

Netball and football ladders show tight contests

In the Ballarat Football Netball League senior netball, Sebastopol leads with 40 points after 12 games while Darley and Ballarat sit level on 36 points. The same clubs occupy the top three places on the BFNL senior football ladder, again with Sebastopol on 40 points and the other two on 36 after 12 matches. Local players and volunteers track these margins closely because they determine home finals at venues across Ballarat.

Numbers that shape the rest of the year

The FV Greater Ballarat League 1 field contains nine teams each season, so every result directly affects percentage and ladder position for the remaining rounds. BFNL senior competitions have already completed 12 rounds, leaving a clear picture of which sides need points most urgently before the finals series. Updates published on the dailyballarat.com.au live feed record these standings as the most recent available figures.

Coaches in Ballarat will now turn their attention to the next block of fixtures and any required team changes. Supporters can follow updated ladders on the same local live feed as matches are played through the coming weeks.
